Review on Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse - Compact Wireless Mouse with 10-Month Battery Life, Compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Chrome, Android, Blue by Devarajan Devarajan ᠌

It's not a bad product, but I expect more.

Prior to the release of the M535, Logitech released the M185. Due to the fact that its scroll down function suddenly stopped working at some point, I decided to purchase the M535. And what are your thoughts on that? After a few months, or possibly a little bit more than a year, a problem that is very similar to it appears on it; the scroll down function almost completely stops working. Even though the wheel is turning, there is no scrolling taking place. In addition, there are times when everything gets back to normal, but then after some time the issue rears its head again. This is a very annoying disadvantage, and if someone reads a review and draws the conclusion that you can scroll with a scrollbar, they are incorrect. Very inconvenient, in general. During office work, the absence of a laser is not only not a deal breaker, but it is also not even noticed at all. Only when playing games, and only in extremely rare instances, such as when making sudden movements, does the pointer almost completely fail to react (tested on different rugs). It is unfortunate that the mouse costs multiple times as much as the M185, while the cost of the laser remains the same. If they included even a basic scroll function, I would feel comfortable recommending that you buy the mouse. As a result, this constitutes a significant drawback that detracts from the overall impression. Therefore, it is not something I suggest. In addition, I strongly suggest that you steer clear of Logitech mice. Logitech, should you be embarrassed? On both an inexpensive and an expensive model, the same flaws can be found.

Pros
  • — Ergonomics (comfort, weight); — Aesthetics
Cons
  • The scroll wheel practically stops moving downward after a certain amount of time, which is a very significant drawback. And all Logitech mice come equipped with this feature, in addition to a laser. - This is a minor issue: the pointer does not function properly when sharp and fast movements are made (a feature of all mice from logitech)
