The wiring harness and antenna hardware was easy to install and worked great. The stereo head unit mounting kit was another matter. The VW "New Beetle" has very little space in the dash for the stereo and I had to do a lot of sanding the parts of the kit to get them to fit. The kit moldings do NOT match the rounded shape of the sidewalls of the port in the torpedo. They were too big. Also, the whole piece was too tall and had to be sanded down to the right height. I was eventually able to get it working, but it took a lot of fiddling and it still doesn't quite fit. Next time I will spend more money to buy a better kit.
