Just received this tonight, and was excited to try it out right away! Started to assemble, and that went pretty well. The clamp has a rather small length, so I had to rig it a bit (not a huge deal - I adapted). Directions were ok. Not perfect, but I figured it out. This is why the 4 stars were given for assembly. Easy to use: couldn't be used (hence, not rated) because the attachment that cut the noodles had become discombobulated in shipping (I assume it didn't leave like this.). Durability with 2 stars: I tried to 'put it back together', but it was very delicate and I was afraid of bending/ ruining the pieces and stopped. I then enlisted my husband's expertise because he's very good at seeing what needs to be done and executing to completion. After studying the pieces, he started to work on fixing what had been delivered "not usable". 15 or so minutes later he quit because of the inability to put it back together. The delicate pieces are a thin gauge of metal and were bending slightly to more than slightly. I am returning this tomorrow because I'm not keeping a new pasta maker that already has issues. Not worth it.3 star total review was because I think it had real potential because it was compact and seemed durable otherwise, but I guess Ill never know.100% completely disappointed in the outcome, as I really wanted to make pasta tonight! Guess we'll try a different brand. back to researching pasta makers (and to think, I thought those days were behind me.). Hoping for better luck next time - fingers crossed!
