Assembly was a bit dreary - took a few hours. But everything went smoothly - everything aligned as it should. Spare parts were, the instructions are clear. The wood is good. Once assembled it is very stable (even without the wall anchor, although with young children I would still use the included wall anchor). I use it to store my grandma's china and knick knacks and I'm not worried about things falling off the shelves - seems pretty sturdy. I actually got 2 to match my existing closet. See photo.
