The third time I used this charging cable it caught fire overnight, melting and damaging my mobile phone charging connector beyond repair. My phone stops charging and is unusable. Luckily nothing else in the room caught fire during the incident, otherwise I would have had to try to repair much more than the burned phone. Revane's response to the security threat was also lackluster. I've been calling since August and this is my 5th call to customer service with wasted hours and a refund on the purchase to show. There were no offers to replace a phone damaged by their product, just vague apologies and superfluous collections of background information. Every support person was accommodating and went above and beyond, but the lack of real action from product security teams and management was annoying and ineffective. Maybe they're not responding because they're being inundated with other complaints about inferior products? I refrained from writing this review in the hope that things could be resolved, but unfortunately it didn't.
