Review on KAMENSTEIN One-Handed Dual Salt and Pepper Grinder - Adjustable & Refillable, 8-Inch, Black by Tony York

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Keep buying, this coffee grinder is not what you need.

Plastic pieces broke off during grinding. The two halves won't stay together and will loosen up the longer you grind and then the top and bottom will separate. If you don't have a good ride on both parts, one of them will fall into your food. In addition, the device is very heavy and can tip over with the slightest bump or shake. Difficult to adjust the size of the grind and the amount that comes out. This results in adding too much spice to the food, often making it inedible. For example, don't use it on eggs when you only need a little salt and pepper, or you'll end up with large chunks of almost whole peppercorns and lots of coarse, over-ground salt that will spoil the eggs. Note. that this grinder has a large capacity so you may not need to refill it very often. That's a plus, because filling this grinder is also quite a chore. When I was seasoning a bowl of fresh tomato soup this afternoon, the grinder separated again and the block of salt fell into my soup. So now my pink t-shirt is ruined and stained with tomato soup. I'm sick of this grinder. It's in the trash and I'm buying a new model.
