The delivery was earlier than expected. The item was packaged properly so there was no damage. The product is essential as described. My first reaction (and hence 4 stars) was that the cups are a lot smaller than I imagined. I washed the product according to the instructions before use and boiled two large eggs that filled the cups. I very much doubt very large eggs would be ok since large eggs fill cups to the brim. Another reason for the 4* is that it was difficult to put the cups in the holder without spilling. I believe this could have been avoided if the cups had been placed in the holder before the holder was placed in the pot and I will use that method next time. Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend with the caveat that it may not work on very large eggs. BTW, the eggs were amazing. I cooked for 6 minutes and got firm egg whites and soft yolks. UPDATE: After using this for some time (usually 4 eggs, 3 times a week) I can add the following. I started putting eggs in cups (in the cup holder) and then I grabbed the whole block by the big handle and put it in the pan (hope that makes sense). I also spray each cup with vegetable/canola oil before breaking the eggs. (I forgot once and the eggs didn't come out without breaking). I also changed the time and method of preparation. I boil the water before I put the egg holder in the pot. Then I lower the temperature to level 3, which I think is 30% of the high setting. This mode provides gentle cooking rather than slow cooking. Then I cook 5 minutes for a thin jam, 5.5 minutes for a semi-liquid yolk and 6 minutes for a solid yolk. I really like this product.
