After reading all the good reviews I decided to buy this mat/cushion for my bath but was disappointed when I received the product. Everything all the other people who are giving 1 and 2 star reviews are saying is spot on - the suction cups won't fix the mat to the bottom of the tub no matter how hard you try so the mat stays off the bottom of the tub slips tub. Bathe every time you try to change position. I was also disappointed with the feel-good factor. At best you'll be sitting about 1/4 inch of the pad. A zigzag quilting pattern is sewn into the mat to further reduce padding. It's certainly softer than the bottom of the tub, but I felt the padding should be thicker at this price point. In the end I was a bit confused about the price. I paid $49.95 for the mat which the seller increased to $54.95 by the time I received it. To be honest if I saw this in a store I wouldn't pay more than $29.99 for it and at the current retail price of $54.95 I wouldn't buy it at all. The quality just doesn't justify the price. If it had been thicker and really stuck to the tub as intended, it might have been worth the $49.95 I paid.
