At first I thought I only needed brass brushes and came across this offer. Decided to give it a try and was glad I got the steel brushes as well as the brass brushes were good for some things but the steel brushes were better for the job I bought them for (cleaning copper door hinges). The brushes have withstood repeated use. Steel brushes are softer than the standard large steel brushes you buy for cleaning grills and the like, so they'll do the job for medium duty. I would recommend them if you have a gentle to medium buffing/cleaning application.
