I already had a slim Switch case, but I just got a Pro Controller and I needed something big enough to hold it, with it it doesn't float in my backpack. This case holds it well without squeezing the controller too hard, but I will say that the rubber band on the mesh moves the sticks on the controller if pressed too hard. But it holds the controller well and I can place my portable dock next to it! My little Tomtoc bag that came in a slim case has my Joy Con controller and I just toss the cords in my purse!
