
I bought these ghetto blasters for my 7 year old daughter to use in the bedroom. I wanted a basic old school CD player and radio. She doesn't have an iPod or phone, I'll set up an account or some other way to listen to digital music. But she enjoys listening to her children's music CDs and CD books and listening to the radio. We found this worked great for playing CDs, both music and books. She can easily insert, play, pause, stop, etc. The volume is enough for her use. However, she finds the radio function difficult. She and I both find it difficult to tune into our favorite station on this particular boombox. But other boomboxes we own don't have this problem. Maybe the FM quality isn't that high for this particular boombox.
