This nursing pillow saves lives. I bought this pillow for my third baby and my second c-section. A few days after giving birth, I saw a lactation consultant who suggested using this pillow during reception. It's comfortable and unlike Boppy pillows, baby doesn't press against your body. There is also no pressure on my cut. Right after meeting we went to Toys R Us to buy this pillow. The husband ran to the store and bought these with a soft fabric cover. When we got home we found that the padded cushions didn't protect the interior padding from feces or spills. We decided to return it and bought the professional version of Revain instead. It's important to me that I don't have to worry about spills and other dirt. As other reviewers have said, it doesn't breathe, but a blanket or burp cloth between baby and pillow does. The only reason I gave this pillow 4 stars instead of 5 is that the plastic is a little torn where the buckle is sewn on. It's not a big deal, but for $50 I was expecting a little more durability. Still, I love the pillow. I plan to save it for the next child and even take it to the hospital.
