This is complete rubbish. I bought this to protect my limited edition Nintendo Animal Crossing Switch and it did more damage to the joy cons than if I just left them open. I didn't have any issues with the clear cover that covers the Switch itself, but after using my Switch and joycons for about a month, I noticed that there was dust in the covers. I didn't think it mattered much, I played it every day and found it was just dead skin or dust, weird but still. NO. Took off the covers, one of which broke the tiny tab that snaps it together so I couldn't put it back on. The other joystick cover was already sliding, its tongue also broken. I'm not sure how it even happened when I flipped my switch and put the entire device in a protective case. Never dropped anything and never travelled. No reason or way to break. After removing the lids to get rid of the "dust" I found that it wasn't dust but actually had the paint removed from my joycons and stuck or rubbed onto the clear lids. When I bought my switch I bought these covers and immediately snapped the covers on. The joycons have never touched my hands for more than 2 seconds since first taking them out of the box to put these covers on. So, how on earth can this happen? I have a pink and green set of Joy-Cons that have never had lids and are not scratched. DO NOT buy this if you really want to protect your Switch or Joycons. If you want to,
