By occupation, they bring me such hards in batches. Some can be recovered, others can't. Unfortunately, I must agree with the majority here that it is better not to take this brand for those for whom valuable information is important. The same Toshiba is more reliable, it lasts up to 7 years without failures. All my own seagates were closed quickly, information was lost forever. If it is still possible to correct something for a small volume (200, 250, 320, 750 GB), then volumes larger than a terabike are covered immediately and it is almost impossible to save it. Sometimes you can replace heads or flash the firmware, but this is a rare case. Basically, the disks of this company are not satisfied, unreliable, fragile.
