Bought for my almost 2 year old godson for Christmas and he loves it. He was in the dinosaur phase but is now 3 years old and still using it. He even chose the exact same one to give to his godbrother. My husband and I love it because it's light and has enough pockets for a cup/water bottle, it has a nice mesh lining on the back, it's a soft neoprene material, it holds a lot and it has a smaller main zippered compartment . Also. The straps are adjustable so an adult can wear them. His parents often use it for his daily use to store extra clothes or diapers and wipes, and he puts some toys in it.
