Updated Review: I'm a bit ashamed of my first positive review because three months later it looks different. This toilet brush holder is now rusted and discolored from water buildup. It's too late to return. I've had several stainless steel toilet brush holders that NEVER got rusty or water-stained. Unfortunately, these mounts weren't as ventilated, and I ended up with disgusting junk on the floor, as I mentioned in my original post. I'd rather put up with it than buying a new brush holder every three months. Don't waste money like me. ---------- Finally! Ventilated toilet brush holder! I love the smooth and clean look of the brushed stainless steel brush holders, but the ones I've had suck on the inside because they don't dry out. I end up having to stick a paper towel in the bottom, which stays damp. Then I have to throw away the dirty paper towel and water. Due to the constant humidity, my brushes rust and algae grow on them. Ewww! Not this brush and holder. I've used it a few times and the inside dries up within a few days. (Even though I have a floor fan in my bathroom.) The brush and the inside of the handle are plastic, so there's no problem with rusting either. I am very satisfied with this attractive and practical product!
