Review on Translucent Phthalate-Free Brush Block Protector by Julie Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beige, not clear color. Here's how to open it:

Chin up - it's not exactly "see-through" - it's definitely beige; I'd say it's yellow in tint (in the attached picture I've smeared some of that onto the paper guide that came with it, hoping to show you the color). Important note on opening - I almost destroyed the packaging at first, thinking the "open/close" rotating part was ONLY the dark blue plastic strip at the bottom. It is not true. You twist *the whole bottom part* (it contains the powder). If you twist it too hard to "open" it, it will fall apart and the whole floor will be powdered. Twist it a little (there is no "click" sound, although the instructions say so). Don't cover your entire bathroom in powder. You will see some small particles fall into the sink. Then you know it's ready to use.) For the people who said they couldn't tell if it really is a powder. applied - I can hardly believe it. The product is not only beige/yellowish in color, it is also good. it is a powder. can you see it in your face If you don't normally apply powder to your face (e.g. foundation), maybe ask the person who does whether or not to apply it. But basically it's like a heavy foundation - I think it's very obvious when you look in the mirror whether it's "on" or not, just like it's easy to know if your makeup powder is on your face was.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging
