Review on DC Sports EX 1012 Muffler Tip for Enhanced Performance and Style by Sirious Cavalli

Looks great I don't know how it will work. Before leaving the garage, one of the mounting nuts broke. I just installed the tip and left. When I came back later, one bracket was on the bottom (the 4 small thumbtacks that attached it to the top had fallen out) and the top was loose. If this happened while driving, the tip would fall off. I changed the bracket design to make this part work. My modified bracket design used a single thru-bolt that went through a drilled hole in the exhaust to keep it from falling off (even if the remaining two brackets failed). UPDATE: This tip toned down the sound of the car exhaust a bit. , as hoped. Used this on a Cobalt 2.2L with the cat removed. This also gave the rest of the exhaust a 'fart can' noise which was mitigated by the addition of this tip.
