Works great and protects the vanity top
Goes very well with my curling iron and is also a good place to put my blow dryer after use as the 'business' part of it can get quite hot too. My only problem was that it was too long for my dressing table. The solution I used was to simply cut off the last 4 or 5 inches and put this piece in my travel bag for use in hotels or as a guest in a private home. So I really got two for the price of one - a really good deal!
