At first I could NOT bleed the line even if I opened the fitting because the air would bypass the threads until I put yellow teflon tape (oil and chemical resistant) on it to hold the air in out through the threads on the bleed ports. If you have this problem, simply apply some sealant to the bleeder threads and bleeding air with this tool will be a breeze. In addition, there is not much suction, so it is mainly air that is sucked in, not liquid. I hope this helps someone else if I had known it would have had the same time and escalation.
