They are made from t-shirt-like stretch material with a padded layer in between. They are very soft and thick. I love that they are large enough to cover my entire shoulder and drape in the front and back. BUT for someone with a smaller stature they might be a bit wide as there is no constriction on my neck. I have broad shoulders so it stays on me. I love neutral colors and patterns for gifts. What would make it a perfect 5 star hotel? With an ergonomic outline in the middle to make it fit more universally.
