It was easy to assemble but the instructions could have been a bit better. I could see how difficult it can be for someone to put this together. I think I'm pretty handy with putting things together and it was quite difficult for me to figure out which side for the bottom pieces I think the letter markings fell off (they should have been labeled A, B, C). I misplaced one side and had to take it off and then managed to hold the bars to hold the bars in place, luckily I managed to play around with it for about 10 minutes and it popped up again. Hole. I think the bed rails are decent, they don't seem to be the same material as before, I have an older and thicker material. I like that the straps go under the bed and can be tightened. It fits my son's single bed very well and keeps him from falling off the bed. Overall I really like it and it's a good product. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a double bed for their toddlers.
