I've always used Arctic Silver because it's the only brand I know of to date. Arctic Silver was simply popular, affordable, and always seemed to outperform the standard paste the cooler manufacturer packaged. with their products. After then watching dozens of video reviews and reading test posts, I decided to try a brand that is a bit more expensive but has great reviews. For comparison I think the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut works as most of the reviews about it are positive. I've noticed my temp on my CPU and now the water cooled GPU drops a few degrees Celsius and if you're trying to push your tech to the limit I can save 2-3 degrees Celsius here and there by spending a little more Premium products all add up for the better. This particular item is probably good for 3-4 applications, I've used it for 2 so far and I know I can certainly squeeze out another pea sized bead, maybe even 2. I didn't use a plastic applicator so how did I only have those paste wrong. Packaging: thermal paste, plastic applicator and instructions are packed in a small foil and airtight bag. Consider a hydration bag, but smaller. 5 Stars. The paste works as expected. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend and buy it again. Pros: Seems to work better than standard paste and previously applied Arctic Silver. (Wish it had a logo sticker) Negative: It costs a few dollars more than the well-loved Arctic Silver brand.
