Bought for my new MacBook Pro with USB 3.0 inputs. I connected an external hard drive that I use for my Time Machine. Satisfied with the performance so far. But the hard drive is not USB 3.0. However, I have transferred images from my SD card using this hub. Really very fast. To make sure everything works as ordered, I bought a Cateck DC 5V 2A/2000mAh Charger, 3.5mm Power Adapter to ensure my peripherals get enough power to stay connected. If I find the hub to be faulty in any way I will definitely update this review.
