If you're looking for an easy way to connect headlights to your trailer, pay someone to install it for you. It wasn't easy to install, but it works great for a good price. I have a 2016 RAV4 and had to open some plastic panels in the trunk to connect it. The really tricky part is connecting the power line from this unit in the trunk to the battery under the hood. If you have a hybrid this kit is perfect (maybe just 20 minutes) as the power is already in the trunk. If not and you can't jack up your car, it's going to be a pain. I'm not a car enthusiast but I'm quite skilled and it took me about 3 hours total. Again, it works great at a good price, but be aware of what you're getting yourself into.
