Our Neato has had good days and bad days. Changed batteries twice. One at Niato's expense, one at ours. He has a habit of rubbing himself against the legs of our chairs. Support says they have issues with reflective surfaces which is why our chair's metal legs are compelling. Now it's out of warranty. The trash can is a current headache. 19/200+ other reviews talk about dust box issues. This is a clear design flaw. I called support and spoke to Jefferson. He had a limit to what he could do. He suggested I send it in for a $32 diagnostic test so they'll tell me their trash can is broken and they'll call me to tell me how much more I have to spend to fix it . In the end he redirected me to Qiana. She suggested I buy a new garbage can button sensor for $16 and fix it myself. She sends my problem to the corporation to see if they can find another solution. When I bought this Neato it had a higher star rating than the corresponding Roomba. The new Roomba now has a higher rating. I wonder if I should have bought the Roomba. I will update this review once Neato Corporate contacts me. [EDIT 2/19/15]: They never replied to me. Neato does not tolerate defective product design. Now he also has problems with vacuum cleaning. When you turn it on, it vacuums around without cleaning in place.
