Having recently bought a mini washing machine I found two things: a story for another review) and 2) if you don't want to, that all your laundry is going to be covered in lint and hair, *need* lint catchers - yes, I mean multiple lint catchers. Who would have thought that 8 pounds. max. Does the laundry tub require four floating lint collectors? But it is, especially for me. I have a black long haired cat. But buying sets of the above two products turned my grimace on the first few loads of washes into the pretty grin on my face I now have when I get my clothes and linens ready to dry. Actually, it's like day and night. I got them in the mail after I bought the stirrers. The stirrers' description said they would catch hair and lint. They don't. But they're better at washing clothes and loosening lint and hair for these handy little lint traps to catch. And they do. My photos are 100% true. I didn't change anything at all, neither the size, nor the light intensity, nor anything else. I've experimented with them a bit. You must fully load all four and not overfill. They need plenty of water to go about their business. For a half load maybe 2. I didn't find it very effective but as mentioned I have specific laundry needs. You also need to consider the type of material. For the load of towels I would put them all regardless of the size of the load. Just always make sure they have enough water to spin freely. I sat and watched them perform throughout the wash cycle. They don't seem to do much, but then get them and you'll see they've all caught decently. In general, they turned out to be very useful to me - and more than justified. to their hype. If you have a mini washing machine or even a full sized top loading machine that you think isn't picking up enough garbage, give these guys a try. You will not be disappointed.
