I have a couple of monitors in front of me and a third one by my side and I use that to hold it in place. This keeps it up and out of the way in the perfect position for just looking at it. Of course it has adjustments and can be moved so I can move the monitor, rotate my arm etc if needed. There are also spots along the arm to attach the cable.
