The AC1900 is a solid mid-range option in the wireless market. It has many features that junior routers don't have (AC, signal conditioning, network repeat). It is reliable and works without a single problem. It's a bit larger than some other routers, but I think the extended range is worth it. The router can be installed in three configurations: as shown (standing upright, antennas up), on a table (fold in the silver leg), or on the wall. don't fix everything. There are still limitations: In my case, 75 feet through an external brick wall and 4-5 internal solid walls is too much for the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands on all routers I use. However, removing this inner wall raises the signal strength to "good".
