good grater: grater, vegetable cutter and slicer
Ever since I tried the Microplane grater, I knew that graters only existed with etched teeth (as opposed to stamped ones). I left my grater too close to the oven openings (hot air deformed the plastic frame) and decided to look for an all-metal grater of comparable quality. 2) all-metal. This is one of them. In general I am very happy with them. It's durable, sharp (although not as sharp as the Microplane), and will stand up to all kinds of abuse. The only downside: Since the stainless steel plates are screwed to the frame, the inside is difficult to clean properly. However, it's okay. This is the goalkeeper.
