Side cutters are useless

These Husky pliers are not what I expected, very poor quality. Needle nose and serrated pliers are fine. The long tips of the noses do not touch when the pliers are closed, they have a lot of play. Diagonal cutters required a lot of force to cut through the smallest inch-thick metal object, which isn't very user-friendly. Sliding joints are ok. I chose a US made pair of pliers for my toolbox because I needed reliability, they would serve as a spare car kit.
