I play volleyball, my weight is 115 pounds 5 feet 1 inch and athletic hips. I usually wear women's little leggings and spandex bike shorts. Wednesday fitted me perfectly into the Vortex volleyball shorts. I have tried on other styles of Mizuno shorts before and the size smaller is on the contrary very small. In my experience, Mizuno pants run small. (My Mizuno knee pads are also medium in size and were initially narrow compared to other brands I wear a small adult size.) If you're in between sizes or are more athletic, size up. You can order two sizes and return 1. I wouldn't call them the right size for the brand.
