I use this case with a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300. I moved into a new college house in August and no longer had access to a garage so have I bought this bag to put on my bike which I kept under a shed. Since I was in the college area, parties were often held on my porch, and I worried about my bike getting beer stains or scratches. It did a great job of protection. The lid is big enough to wrap around my wheels and has a buckle in the middle to hold it in place, which helped keep it clean even from the beers tipped onto the pavement. I used a bike lock threaded through 2 reinforced holes in the cover and front wheel as an extra anti-theft device and additional guarantee to the bike. I now use this case as scratch protection when I park my bike in my parent's garage. It has ventilation holes to evacuate moisture that may collect under the lid. It also has soft material where the windshield hits and heat resistant material on either side where the exhaust system is likely to work. Bikes with under-rear exhausts can have issues with this, but I always let mine cool for at least 20 minutes before capping, just to be on the safe side. Now it gives me the added security that someone carrying something through a garage or opening a car door won't scratch my bike while I'm gone. I definitely recommend this product.
