So I have to say a few things about these brushes. First of all, I would rate it a 3.5 rather than a 4, but 3 seemed a bit low to me. Regardless, I've rounded up to 4 as there weren't any major flaws. The brushes came quickly in a small box with bubble wrap and then in a small plastic bag with each one individually re-wrapped. Happy with it. 5/5 The brushes themselves were a little smaller than I remembered, but still. They were a beautiful shiny golden red/pink color with a comfortable black plastic handle. The bristles were tightly packed and none of them were misplaced or stained. Aesthetically, the brushes are beautiful and look professional. 5/5 The bristles themselves were synthetic, tightly compressed and very soft. I have not personally tried Artis brushes or other expensive brands but I found them to be of high quality and easy to use. The handles were comfortable to hold. One of the downsides was that the largest brush I used to apply the foundation was a bit loose where the black meets the rose gold and squeaked a little every time I moved it. I'm sure it will take a little while no matter what, but I was definitely disappointed and it was a pretty serious downside. So if you get a product like this, I would suggest not holding this brush by the handle like YouTubers, but holding it higher up, closer to the brush itself to provide grip and prevent breakage. However, the rest of the brushes were fine with no defects. 3.5/5 These brushes were soft on the face and easy to use. They are clearly not the best quality and you get what you pay for. I used a medium coverage liquid foundation to test and the brush left a few spots and streaks. I have found that applying the brush to the skin in the streaked area actually works like a beauty blender. Banding was reduced and upon completion I had an overall smooth result. 4/5 Overall I recommend these brushes if you want a basic oval set in your brush collection. They are by no means professional, but they leave a nice blended color on your face. They are small and with the right bag it will be easy to travel. Except for a slightly defective brush, they were good. TL; DR - The brushes are generally good (I had a broken one that squeaked, but it's still usable). Soft, hold lightly (don't press too hard) and blot to remove the small streaks it leaves. Comes well sealed and protected. Suitable for beginners/normal people
