Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Red Wii Mini Bundle with Mario Kart Wii Game by Jeffrey Kue

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't panic... everything works great

If you're the kind of person who never reads the manual, don't panic when you connect the cables, put the batteries in the controller, and turn it on - it won't respond to the controller! The small LEDs on the controller blink as if trying to connect, but nothing happens. You need to do a full or new sync between the controller and the main unit. Remove the controller battery cover and you will find a small button. Press it and immediately press the small button on the side of the main unit. The controller is synced and everything is fine. Yes, it says so in the manual, but read the introductory part again. If that doesn't happen to you, then good luck. The rest of the observations are the same as most of the other reviewers. It's stripped down and simplified. I like that - too much can go wrong in the complicated ride of the original. That's what failed with my first Wii and motivated me to buy this replacement. The lack of Wi-Fi can mean missing out on "add-ons" downloaded from the web for games like Just Dance, but that's about it. Who surfs the Internet with the Wii? This is an example of a device that does one thing and does it well. Easier (yes), cheaper (yes), better? (the time will show).

Pros
  • The Wii has around 1400 games on disc and almost all of them are compatible with the Wii mini.
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
