My grandson is about to whelp. He drops everything (after putting it in his mouth). Not only are they light and easy to hold, they hurt a lot less than other toys when they hit your face. :) Two bullets make slight ringing noises and the other makes a crunching noise. They came just like the photo, in a plastic zip-top sleeve. They fit in the palm of my hand. I have no complaints about these balls and I see them being used well past the kid dropping stage. They roll and it's fun to start playing ball when the time is right.
