Buy it when your dog chews on the plastic tray.

I needed something for my naughty GSP that ate half of its plastic shell and wouldn't stop. I had it for several months and it was costing me money and potential vet bills. At first she was a little scared of the tinny sound, but she's gotten used to it now. I had to clean it, there was no rust.

Pros

Fits most drawers (please carefully measure the inside dimensions to ensure this drawer will fit your cage); The unique sloping side panel at the bottom has been designed to fit better in the drawer. The tray also makes great floor protection (perfect for storing bowls of pet food, dirty boots and shoes, potty liners, drips of grease and more).
