Everything is organized and collected in one place in this backpack. For work, I have to park in a garage, get to the building where I work, and climb several flights of stairs. I had a large bag, lunch box, bottle of water and coffee. It was VERY uncomfortable. This backpack allows me to carry EVERYTHING in one place! Side pockets: very flexible and durable! Comfortably holds a water bottle and coffee mug. Lunchbox: more than I expected. I was worried my lunch would get crushed at the bottom of the bag so I hesitated to buy this bag. However, the velcro does an excellent job of preventing it from being crushed by the contents of the bag. Laptop Bag: Goes straight to the bottom of the bag (and bonus: no squeezing/crushing the lunchbox!) I don't really need to bring my laptop to work, so I use the bag instead for the few textbooks/notebooks I carry with me , and a fourth to work with me. The top of the bag clasp: the bag is quite strong! The top of the bag has hard parts that prevent the top half of the bag from popping open. This is definitely a nice feature! Handles: I like the dual carry option. The bag is very easy to lift from the top using the top handles and the backpack's straps are padded so the bag sits comfortably on your back! Material: The material of the bag is also of excellent quality! It appears to be easy to clean (e.g. with a damp cloth) and water resistant (to a certain extent). Haven't tested the bag in the rain yet, but the material seems to be holding up well. Definitely recommend this product for college students and people like me who need to be "seconded" to work and have a LOT to carry!
