The cutter is actually not bad. This took my roast, and by slicing it into thin slices I can now prepare tough meat in dishes other than slow cook roasts. get thinly sliced meat. When partially thawed, the meat usually won't be cut completely or cleanly. It definitely doesn't cut bones. I didn't expect it and I don't have to. This is just a reminder for anyone trying this. - The cut isn't straight across the meat which means I even had to rotate the meat 2-3 cuts to prevent the meat coming out in a wedge - If you press too hard it will move the back wall. That's to be expected, as there's nothing holding the top of the back panel in place, and finally, what annoys me the most. There is a small carving knife holder just behind the blade that will be filled with meat. To do this I have to unscrew a small plate to get the meat out when peeling. It's annoying, but I was able to fix the problem with a new drill press and a set of 48-bit drill bits :)
