Review on 🌬️ GermGuardian AP5800W: Superior 19" Hi-Performance Air Purifier with HEPA Filter & Air Quality Sensor in White by Andrew Cramer

Let me start by saying that I'm a huge fan of Germ Guardian! Everyone in this house has severe allergies and asthma so I've had four of their towers for about 6 years now. (Model #AC4825) They work amazingly and we've been spending a lot less on asthma and allergy medication since we started using them. That's why I'm very impressed by this model. In my opinion it works even better than the towers. Working side by side, you can see that this new model is much better. It's definitely stronger. I lit up some bacon the other day and the smoke and smell was gone in a very impressive 10 minutes. And I don't mind vacuuming monthly. I have to do that now for all our fans. But what I don't like about this version is the ease of changing filters. At the time of writing this review, they were not available on Amazon. I could get a replacement for about $85 from another competitor, but I prefer to buy everything on Amazon. I trust them, I like to keep my order history in one place and delivery is very fast. This may be a temporary issue as it is Autumn 2021 and many products are currently unavailable due to Covid. And of course I would have preferred replacement filters to be cheaper, but I think they are almost as expensive as the original filters. Cooling tower filters that I already have. These tower filters must be replaced every three months at a cost of $28 each ($25 for the filter and $3 for the carbon). This filter should last 9 months or more so the price of a replacement filter is typical for the brand. I hope this review was helpful.
