I received four packs of these and only three of them opened with the 'preset' combination of 000 rendering the lock completely unusable. Whilst the company promises a free replacement the only way to get in touch with them is via email and as my trip is less than 48 hours away this is obviously not resolved in time. This is not the first review to mention this issue. and I just hope the remaining three floodgates don't close (or open) during my upcoming voyage. After a 15 hour international journey I definitely don't want to get into my hotel suitcase! Next to. Once the lock is open, resetting the combination is simple and straightforward. However, opening the lock requires both the right combination and pressing a small button on top of the lock between the cables, which can be a problem for those with dexterity issues. The lock body and cable look and feel good (it obviously didn't matter). for a broken lock) and the orange color is clearly visible to identify the bag on the carousel. The cable corresponds to the description. Just note that this is long enough to potentially capture something during processing. Until I've used them and seen the company respond to my email, the best I can give is two stars for quality control, design (button above), and ease of contact with the manufacturer.
