The airbrush worked well for my first session which involved priming a set of miniatures. Problem number 1. It was a bit finicky at times. I found that I had to pull the trigger a few times to get the paint flowing again. This sometimes resulted in a drop of paint splattering. I figured it would take some time to determine the optimum fineness for the smoothest flow of paint. I can't say the brush is to blame. Problem number 2. When the compressor died, I turned it off and noticed that the metal fitting was very, very hot. It's hot enough I couldn't stay there until it cooled down a bit. After that I charged the compressor. From the second session onwards, it suddenly no longer switches off. It works uninterrupted whether it's connected to a cord, an airbrush, or nothing at all. When I tested it with water, everything was fine. Using it with paint was uncomfortable but clearly not a problem. Now he has a problem. I would say that this device is for light touch ups only and is not designed for continuous use or heavy use. What I liked: • Portability is absolutely great • Quiet motor is almost silent • Large cups allow you to paint for some time • Cup lids allow you to control the airbrush from almost any angle instantly (no splashing) • It has one simple trigger spray and a knob to adjust the paint flow. What I didn't like: • The pressure can still be too low. Vallejo's starting primer has a liquid consistency of water, but I had trouble getting an even flow. • Failed to switch off automatically after the first session (critical error) • No battery status display. No red/green LED, no signal, nothing. There is a hole for an LED, but mine doesn't seem to be used for that purpose unless it's rated for airflow. The manual says nothing • The manual does not get through to the seller. No company name, no contacts. No website. There is no obvious way to order replacement cups, needles or seals. What if I need them? If the next module does not run through multiple sessions, this is not recommended. Two stars for now. Maybe there are better apps, but building models here can't be one of them.
