Review on Panasonic F63265G60AP Turntable Motor Drive by Joe Kokenge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Panasonic Factory Inverter matches

It was an exact match of what came out of the Panasonic Inverter Microwave. The exchange turned out to be easier than expected. It took a Phillips screwdriver and a Torx T25 security key (I think). First remove the glass plate that rotates in the microwave. Then remove the three-sided plastic turntable. I used a tablespoon to open it. There's probably a better way, but it worked for me. Remove the 2 Phillips screws on the side, rotate it and remove the 5 Torx screws on the back. This does everything to remove the outer shell. Now simply tilt the back of the case up, wiggle it a little, and remove it immediately. The second part of the job is to turn the microwave upside down so you can access its underside. Remove 4 screws from the bottom panel, one at each corner. Then a white plastic box is attached to the side of the base plate. Remove one screw from the side to loosen the box. There are 4 clips and a bracket on the same white box. The latch needs to be lifted slightly to allow the white box to be slid forward and removed from the 4 clips. This should completely release the bottom cover. Now let's get to the heart of the problem. The platter motor is held on by a single screw. I waited to disconnect the wires from the motor until the new motor was in place. Remove a screw and twist it a little and it comes right out. When I replaced mine it had to click/snap to align. Then simply disconnect and replace one wire at a time and reverse the disassembly process. This might sound like a lot, but once you're done, it's pretty easy (and you don't have to pay anyone to do it).
