Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best open source business process management engine

The user interface of fluidBpm helps to design complex workflows very easily without any technical knowledge required by users. It was my first experience with workflow engines/platforms so i guess it's easy for newbies who are familiar only in programming languages like java or c++ but not web technologies. I would say there should be some tutorials available which can help people get started quickly using this tool. For me as developer its really good platform since we could build our own custom components. We used mostly BPEL flows (XML) before implementing these features. Thanks to developers they implemented REST API support also recently :) Currently working on orchestration part - defining sequence flow between multiple processes running over different nodes etc.

Cons
  • I would suggest to add some tutorials and tutorials for beginner developers
