Use screw cap syringes or they will slip off.
Slips on the end of the syringe. It is very difficult to push the plunger. I suggest a steel veterinary syringe. They filter everything. Bacteria with a size of 0.04 microns. They filter up to half that size. Heating the sample can aid flow.
