I originally ordered an ADATA Premier SP600 128GB as a drive replacement for my Acer Chromebook 15. The ADATA SSD failed twice (not really Chromebook compatible) so I'm ordering a KingSpec. He worked for several days. Now, and there haven't been any issues, it appears to be even more energy efficient than the original Kingston SSD. My exact Chromebook model is Acer Chromebook 15 CB5-571 or Model # YUNA D25-A3G-K8A-A4P. I soon found out why ADATA failed. after i installed it. SATA Aggressive Link Power Management (ALPM) was not supported at the firmware level. All Chromebooks use ALPM on their SSDs and if not supported they will crash or shut down, similar to a hardware failure. This SSD supports all of the extended SMART and ALPM protocols used by Chromebooks. Tested read and write speeds slightly better than stated by Mfg.
