My husband and I bought this in desperation to help our LO sleep better. While it does its job, it definitely lacks it. My biggest criticism of the design. While it's nice that it can be folded for travel, the middle (where it folds to fold) has no support and forces baby to not be completely flat unless on a very flat, hard surface. Unless your bed is very hard, it won't be 100% flat. It seems to me that this could be easily fixed, but still. Also, I don't feel like the sidewalls are really that breathable, which is definitely an issue. Despite being partially mesh, they are quite thick. I personally would have liked them to be a bit more transparent so that when I lay next to my son I could see him through the mesh without having to get up to look inside. In general, it all depends on what you are looking for and why you need it. Knowing what I know now and personally for me, I would consider other options if you are looking for an everyday sleeper.
