Review on 🩳 Women's UV Skinz Active Shorts in Black - Size L (Large) - Women's Clothing by James Jenkins

Very happy with these swim trunks! I'm in my 40's and fit but was looking for something to swim that would give me more protection but still look sporty rather than ostentatious. (Even when I was younger, I felt a bit too "open" in most swimwear.) I've tried other swim shorts, but the only ones I've found at general stores were more regular shorts (with wider shorts). cutting off the legs) and they flashed underwater and I hated it. Also, they didn't look very nice from the water (they looked too boxy/loose). I also tried on a swim skirt, but it was also on display and looked like a grandmother's for my age. I've looked at a lot of other swim shorts on the web but I've noticed a lot of reviews from others complaining about the too thin material and lack of inner lining and also mentioning that it doesn't feel close enough or feel that they should either wear underwear underneath those shorts or wear something else over those shorts. Then I came across these swim shorts! The material is definitely thick enough and they are fully lined so you don't need to wear anything underneath. I recently wore them on vacation where I swam, snorkeled and went to a water park with slides and rides. The shorts were great - they're flattering and fit just like training/bike shorts so your legs are sort of 'held in place' (in a good way). They are true to size (I'm just under 5ft 6in, about 125-128lbs and wear 8" or 6" pants depending on brand and style so I ordered medium and they fit very well) . They're comfortable for all activities and pair well with tankini tops with straps. In short, these shorts are great! I like them so much I think I'll be ordering a 2nd pair or maybe even a 3rd pair to have on hand in case I can't find them in the future and since it took me a couple of years, to find her! also by UV Skinz) in case I need a longer style for some occasions/events.
