My husband immediately hooked up to our 2010 Jeep Wrangler which has the lights on almost all the time. It doesn't compare to the cheap little one we bought at our local treble shop. Easy to navigate and read. However, it doesn't have its own power storage, so you'll lose data as soon as you unplug it from the machine. To get updates, connect to a computer and sign up for an account with a serial number. He found it a bit cumbersome and the update never seemed to complete and ended up with an error. He didn't try again. Overall the machine is good and easy to use, but upgrades aren't as user-friendly and can be problematic in a shop environment. Thanks very much!
