I think they are used and not new. They sent me 2 (probably by mistake?) and the first one I installed had a scratch on the screen and didn't look new. In addition, the pixels were permanently engraved with K1 (a photo had to be taken). The K1 was blue when I turned it on and it almost looked like a sticker, but it was definitely part of the screen and was present during POST and after Chrome loaded into the UI. I replaced the first with the second they sent and it had a bent screw hole that I had to bend back. It didn't look new either. But for my purposes it works perfectly. Better than my broken screen.
